Weekend Results
Saturday turned out to be a bust thanks to Mother Nature. The team was supposed to get together and race the 1st race of the Plainville series, then head out on a team rider for a few hours, but the day was a rain out...bummer! Yesterday was a solid day for the team at the second race of the Bethel Series. Bob German and Ron LaRose took 2nd & 3rd in the Mens 3/4 race. Bob was off the front by almost a minute with another rider putting in a great effort and Ron had one heck of a sprint to keep his 3rd position. Brian Tompkins rode well finishing in 14th in the 3/4 race as well. Everyone looked good and week 2 of the 2008 season is in the books. You guys rode great Sunday. Bob and Ron are riding great. I attacked on the hill and brought about 5 guys with me. When we were caught and Bob and Dave Friefelder of WWV countered I knew that was the move to be in. Too bad I had no legs. Great racing keep it up.
